Physician Substitute (LPN)

Under supervision of the Center Manager, Physician and Quality Assurance Supervisor in compliance with the Care Plasma Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and State/Federal regulations, employee has to ensure donor suitability and donor safety and product integrity.


Qualifications: 

  • EMT-P, LPN or RN licensure in the NY state (Licensure must

Under supervision of the Center Manager, Physician and Quality Assurance Supervisor in compliance with the Care Plasma Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and State/Federal regulations, employee has to ensure donor suitability and donor safety and product integrity.


Qualifications:

  • Must have good oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to use a computer.
  • CPR certified (certification must be maintained).
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
  • Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
  • Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs and rarely 50 lbs

Responsible for the efficient and effective collection of plasma from donors by performing venipuncture, plasmapheresis machine set-up and monitoring the pheresis process and following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).


Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Phlebotomy certification and experience in venipuncture pre

Responsible for the efficient and effective collection of plasma from donors by performing venipuncture, plasmapheresis machine set-up and monitoring the pheresis process and following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).


Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Phlebotomy certification and experience in venipuncture preferred.
  • Ability to complete routine forms or conduct routine oral communications
  • Ability to understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions
  • Must be patient and communicate well with the donors to provide 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Must be able to set-up, operate and trouble shoot the plasmapheresis equipment.
  • Perform tasks while standing and walking up to 100% of time
  • Reach, bend, kneel and have high level of manual dexterity
  • Occasionally be required to lift and carry up to 25 pounds

Perform any and all necessary calibrations of processing equipment and provide thorough and accurate documentation of such calibrations.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/equivalent.
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computers.
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
  • Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
  • Able to pull and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to spend short periods of time in plasma freezers colder than -30°C.

Under supervision of the operations supervisor and Quality Assurance Supervisor, in compliance with the Care Plasma Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and State/Federal regulations, the Employee will determine donor suitability for Plasmapheresis.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/equivalent.
  • Must have good oral and written communication
